The work of the Painting Conservation department of the Oberlin conservation center are highlighted here. Located near Cleveland, Ohio, the center has evolved into a multidisciplinary organization with departments in paper conservation, painting conservation, metals and sculpture conservation, and the conservation of historic fountains and monuments. The services are oriented to the collections of museums and other institutions. McKay Lodge Conservation Laboratory, Inc, was founded in 1989.
